Having used Vbulletin before, I know there is an option in the General configuration that enables the quick reply box by itself, without you having to find that really annoyingly small box on the right hand side, and I was wondering if AliveDot could enable it, it would make the site better for new users, and more intuative

**Just a suggestion**

Yeah i am also fund of using a quick reply. I don't know why they disabled that. It is faster to reply but maybe spammer will take advantage of it.

I would have to agree the quick reply enabled would help a lot. Not really sure why anyone would need to disable it.

It's disabled by default on most VB installations, and was since one version after they introduced the quick reply, and it takes a bit of digging in the configuration to find it, but it's definitely worth doing so

I think that it is working fine on my end. Maybe you are just not sure as it can be different from site to site. But it is generally located near the quote button as on this site.

I think it is a very good suggestion to activate the quick reply box in order to help the new members of this forum

Yup but most webmaster or admins don't do this because they want you to read the topic carefully and thus prevent spamming. Time of 30 seconds is also kept between posts.

I noticed alot of forums have the quick reply box but most of the time you can't even use it. You know how you are able to just click the box so that your cursor would be on it, alot of the times you can't even get that far.

All depends on the forum admins and what they think of it. I think current thing is best to click on a button to enable it. It prevents spammers and also lets you post quickly.
